Your response war fairly legalistic, the Xbox I bought in Swiss was packaged with English being the dominant language i.e. everything was written in English first with German translation following. The skyrim game was pictured with the English header "FULL GAME DOWNLOAD" emblazoned on the picture of skyrim game.
I don't seem to be able to change the language of Skyrim Special Edition on Xbox One. This creates a huge issue when trying to use mods (since I end up with half of the game in Polish, half in English). Is there any known workaround/fix for that?

No problem :) i'll try that, thanks! When I start Wyre Bash it marks the update.esm red and when I move my mouse over it says that the update.esm is corrupted. I had that problem once and after a bit of trying I found out Steam was updating Skyrim. When I change the language via steam it "updates" skyrim (downloading the english files).
